Two Building Fund for the Arts Recipients Celebrate Ribbon Cuttings

On April 18, The Mississippi Children’s Museum and the Mississippi GRAMMY Museum, both Building Fund for the Arts grant recipients, celebrated ribbon cuttings for their projects.

Mississippi Children’s Museum – Literacy Garden

This Mississippi Children’s Museum celebrated the opening of its Literacy Garden. The museum was awarded $179,520 to renovate the Literacy Garden and Wild About Reading Gallery.

Mississippi GRAMMY Museum – Mississippi Legacy Case

The Mississippi GRAMMY Museum celebrated its new Mississippi Legacy Case inside the Maddox Foundation Mississippi Gallery. The museum was awarded $131,442.21 to expand its exhibit space. The new display features outfits and instruments from Marty Stuart, Bobby Rush, Leontyne Price, Steve Azar, Faith Hill, Mary Wilson, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Charley Pride.
