Rita grew up in Jackson and is an award-winning comedian, musician, and military veteran. You may have seen her on Comedy Central, Epix TV, and CNN (just to name a few). In addition to her stand-up, she is an accomplished writer who recently became a first-time Writers Guild Awards Nominee in two categories.
