This week on the Arts Hour, Lauren Rhoades talks with award-winning author LindaWilliams Jackson, who is originally from Rosedale, MS. Linda is the author of MIDNIGHT WITHOUT A MOON, an American Library Association Notable Children’s Book, and A SKY FULL OF STARS, which received a Malka Penn Honor for an outstanding children’s book addressing human rights issues. Her latest middle-grade novel, THE LUCKY ONES, was inspired by Robert Kennedy’s 1967 Poverty Tour of the Mississippi Delta and is loosely based on the author’s own family’s experiences.
