Marta Szlubowska is a concert violinist and a teacher, born and raised in Warsaw, Poland. Szlubowska has been Concertmaster of the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra in Jackson, Mississippi, since 2005. Szlubowska loves to perform chamber music, solo, or as a leader of an orchestra. Concerto repertoire is her passion, but she is also available for events such as recitals, weddings, celebrations and house concerts. Szlubowska has performed at Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. and abroad at prestigious international festivals such as Tanglewood and Interlochen.  She has won numerous international competitions and teaches master classes in the U.S. and abroad. Szlubowska teaches violin and chamber music at Millsaps College and the Millsaps Conservatory of Music. She is passionate about coaching and preparing students of intermediate and advanced levels for auditions, festivals, competitions and performances.
