Jessica Escobedo holds a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Houston & has over 12 years of experience as a freelance designer. Her diverse skills span print, web, & environmental design, enabling her to explore the intersectionality of mediums to create innovative work. She has developed graphic design and tool-learning classes for DaVinci Makerlabs and Maker’s Edge in Waco, TX. Her commitment to fostering creativity extends to her volunteer work with the Diamondhead School of FA. Believing storytelling transcends books, she weaves it into her art. Her passion for design is complemented by a love of books and science, which inform her creative process. When not in her studio, she tends to her garden, documenting the life cycles of local MS butterflies & bees. This connection to nature fuels her creativity and reinforces her belief that art and the environment are linked. Through her work, Jessica inspires others while exploring the beauty of design in all its forms.
