Gail Morton uses a variety of materials to foster 21st century learning skills in the classroom. By modeling the creative cycle, she has developed hands-on, arts-infused lessons that teach creativity, critical thinking, collaboration and communication to teachers and students. She has a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from the University of Mississippi and a master’s degree in secondary art education from Delta State University. Morton has a K-12 art certification, National Board certification in Early Adolescence through Young adulthood Art and teaches “Creative Expressions for Elementary Teachers”, Painting, Drawing, Art Appreciation, and Ceramics at Blue Mountain College.
