During the school year, Bob Swanson teaches astronomy, physical science and meteorology at Itawamba Community College in Tupelo. However, during the summer, “Stormin’ Bob Swanson, The Singing Weatherman,” grabs his guitar (and banjo and harmonicas and mandolin and accordion) and hits the road to play weather and astronomy songs for schools, libraries, and communities. Stormin’ Bob is pleased to offer two 45-minute programs, “Music and Meteorology” and “Out of this World,” that can tailored to meet the size and age range of your audience. He has his own sound system, microphones, and projection system and can play for audiences up to 300.
