This Christmas Eve, we’ll take a break from the interviews and play some holiday music. Larry has combed the record stores and pulled together another show of holiday tunes, all by Mississippi musicians. The show will focus on original holiday songs performed by Mississippi artists and will include as many genres as can fit in an hour, including rock, country, gospel, jazz and folk. Larry will play songs by Governor’s Arts Awardees The Canton Spirituals, North Mississippi blues legend Jessie Mae Hemphill, the late jazz pianist (and Greenwood native) Mulgrew Miller and many more.
