Introducing the Dille Fund for Visual Art Acquisition

The Dille Fund for Visual Art Acquisition is a new special initiative offered to organizations by the Mississippi Arts Commission. The initiative provides funds for the purchase of visual art, specifically a landscape or seascape.

MAC is now accepting applications from qualifying organizations for the Dille Fund for Visual Art Acquisition. The deadline to apply is October 16.

During the next few weeks, MAC Arts Industry Director Turry Flucker will present information about the new opportunity in locations around the state. His presentation schedule is as follows:

9/18/17 | Laurel | Lauren Rogers Museum of Art | 2:30 – 3:30 p.m.

9/21/17 | Oxford | Yoknapatawpha Arts Council, The Powerhouse | 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.

9/29/17 | Ocean Springs | The Mary C. O’Keefe Cultural Center | 2:30 – 3:30 p.m.

10/02/17 | Cleveland | Delta Arts Alliance | 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

10/02/17 | Greenwood | Museum of the Mississippi Delta | 2:30 – 3:30 p.m.

10/04/17 | Jackson | JSU College of Public Service | 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.
