Ravin Lovett (MA – Art Education, Florida State University) is an artist creating personal and commissioned “storyteller quilts” filled with vibrant colors and bold shapes. In 2025, she was a featured artist in the Black History Month Exhibit at the Gulfport Arts Center (Gulfport, MS). Lovett’s work was also part of a 2025 group exhibition titled “We Are the Threads of Mississippi” at the Mississippi Art Center (Jackson, MS). Lovett’s February 2026 exhibition “Codes to Freedom” at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College explored themes of spiritual freedom, mental health, and inherited resilience.
