Jason Jenkins is a visual artist and storyteller native to Jackson, Mississippi, whose traditional hand-illustrated graphic body of work delves into the deep history and mythos of Mississippi and the American South. His collection of 2500+sq.ft. murals on Martin’s Restaurant and Bar in Downtown Jackson represent the rich musical heritage of his home state. He was invited to and exhibited at the DesignerCon Art Show in Los Angeles, CA five years in a row. He’s currently working as a Sketch Card Artist at Upper Deck Entertainment, hand-illustrating original 1-of-1 rare collectible trading cards officially licensed by Marvel, Universal Pictures, DC Comics, and Warner Bros for international distribution. He also co-owns and operates The Beacon in Fondren, where he exclusively showcases his artwork, covers the interior in murals, and has a private studio in the back where he restores vintage goods and writes/illustrates familial fables, folklore, and tales of his own created universes.
