Harold Miller is an award-winning sculptor and pottery instructor with decades of experience using clay as a powerful medium for storytelling and artistic transformation. He has been recognized as “one of America’s best postmodernist African American sculptors.” Harold’s unique style is characterized by his ability to capture intricate, life-like details of his subjects brilliantly. His creations, real or imagined, appear to communicate with the innermost feelings of his audience. Harold serves as an inspiration to the many that he taught, helped, and encouraged through his 36 + years as a sculptor. Through hands-on instruction, he guides diverse audience members, including individuals and groups, in the process of creating lifelike sculptures and wheel-thrown pottery.
