Debi Lane is a self-taught potter who has worked with clay for more than 16 years. A defining feature of Lane’s pottery is her handmade glazes produced from ash, which is a unique refinement in her on-going artistic process. In 2026, Lane performed live demonstrations of her craft at Mississippi Department of Archives and History’s 4th annual Mississippi Maker’s Fest. As part of her practice, Lane offers clay classes in the Community Center located in Magee, Mississippi. Lane’s artwork can be found at Pacesetter Gallery (Flowood, MS) and the Two Mississippi Museums gift shop.
