Damein Wash is a dynamic musician who blends Mississippi gospel roots with classical training to create a rich and versatile sound. Holding degrees in Choral Music Education and Music Theory from the University of Mississippi, he is a performer, composer, conductor, and educator. As frontman for The Soul Tones and a member of the trio Three Grand, he has entertained audiences nationwide. His work has been featured in Hallmark films and shows like Young and the Restless, American Gods, and Queen of the South. With over two decades of teaching and choir directing, Wash has earned multiple accolades, including Oxford Middle School’s Teacher of the Year. He leads workshops across Mississippi and runs Washboard Studios, where he produces innovative projects like Deep South Gospel. Grounded in tradition and driven by innovation, Wash continues to elevate Southern music on national and international stages.
