Christopher Windfield (MA – Academy of Art University, CA) is primarily a spray paint public artist specializing in indoor and outdoor large-scale murals. Windfield’s work captures the cultural richness of African American communities to develop images that resonate deeply within the spaces the murals inhabit. His portfolio includes commissions for Jackson State University, the City of Jackson, the City of Indianola, and Walmart. Windfield’s collaboration with Briarwoods Arts Center (Jackson, MS) expands his artistic work through the development and facilitation of workshops, mentorship of young adults, and cultivating the next generation of artists.
