Heathcock has worked in film and TV costume for over 15 years. Heathcock’s has designed specialty costumes in Canada, Mexico, and many of the US states. Recently, she designed NIGHT COMES in Vancouver, working with a longtime collaborator, Jay Hernandez (Magnum P.I.) as director and starring Dafne Keen, Alexander Ludwig, and Samantha Lorraine. The costumes in NIGHT COMES are one-of-a-kind upcycled post-apocalyptic designs inspired by the characters’ surroundings and their individual personalities. She has designed over 60 episodes of television, including multiple seasons of Magnum P.I., Big Sky (starring Reba MacIntire), and Rescue High Surf.

Ashley loves the collaboration of filmmaking, where the final product is a beautiful alchemy of everyone’s individual contribution.
