Timothy Davis is the Finance Director of the Mississippi Arts Commission.

Davis previously worked in the finance and administration divisions of the Mississippi Department of Archives and History and the Mississippi Department of Corrections. His work at MDAH dealt with the Mississippi Historical Society, the Mississippi Bicentennial Commission, and the opening of the Two Mississippi Museums.

A native of Clinton, MS, Davis earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Mississippi State University.

Davis and his wife, Kyla, live in Clinton, MS, with their daughter, Marci.
