Christian Bailey is a potter and sculptor who has spent the last 18 years creating and teaching art. He specializes in wheel thrown and altered functional and sculptural works, alternative firing techniques, glaze mixing, underglaze decoration, and experimental kilns. He has 17 years of experience teaching high school art on all levels as well as cross-curricular lesson planning. He was an education consultant for the Ohr O’Keefe Museum of Art, was the arts education consultant on a television pilot dedicated to STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) education, is an education consultant for Art in The Pass, presented at the 2021 Whole Schools Initiative conference, is currently the art department chair at Harrison Central High School and presents quarterly workshops at the Mary C. Okeefe Center.
