Long is a two-time master artist in the Mississippi Arts Commission’s Folk Arts Apprenticeship Program and a MAC Folk Arts Fellowship grant recipient. He is a member of the Mississippi Craftsmen’s Guild and active in the Magnolia Woodturners Club.
