Emmi Sprayberry

A Mississippi native, Emmi is passionate about accessibility in the arts and supporting emerging talent. This commitment has been demonstrated through her work running various galleries and markets, including Icon Gallery and The Market 39211, and her assistance with Fondren’s First Thursday. At her core, Emmi is a storyteller, dedicated to uplifting others in whatever role she takes on.
Emmi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Photography with an emphasis in color theory from Belhaven University and has received international recognition for her documentary photography, including work in Lilongwe, Malawi. She is currently developing a project that examines the relationship between music, community, and Mississippi’s legacy as the birthplace of American music.
In addition to her professional work, Emmi volunteers as a documentary photographer for various mission organizations, furthering her commitment to making a positive impact through the arts.
