Rebecca Wilkinson is a National Board Certified educator and artist with more than 20 years of experience teaching art to children. She holds a master’s degree in art therapy from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Her art therapy background and her work in children’s mental health as well as with special needs populations is influential in her approach to art education. As an experienced classroom teaching artist who holds a Mississippi K-12 art certification, Wilkinson can offer demonstrations, create lessons related to cross curriculum, and provide special needs adaptations. She takes an expressive approach to problem solving and can design a lesson or activity to fit the needs of your classroom.
