Harpist June Caldwell is a composer, arranger, and performer. She enjoys playing a variety of musical styles, from traditional, classical, and mood music, to rock, pop, blues, jazz and ragtime. She also continues the tradition of the troubadours by combining music with stories to show the rich history of the harp, create a historical scene, or share a story in which the audience plays a part.
A multi-instrumentalist, June also plays hammered and lap dulcimers, guitar, and Native American flute. She has performed for Mississippi State University’s Conference on Oral Traditions; Nantahala Village Resort in North Carolina; Mississippi Humanities Council’s 40th Anniversary Celebration; Mississippi Museums Association; Mississippi Artist Showcase, and Double Decker Festival. She is available to perform at renaissance fairs, schools, libraries, weddings, receptions, festivals, churches, and other venues.
