Andi Bedsworth

Andi Bedsworth is a fiber artist, costume designer, and teacher. She has been teaching at the elementary level since 2011. Sewing and Fiber Art are her passion, but she loves all sorts of art and crafts and incorporates many different techniques and media into her lessons. Student engagement is her specialty, and her hands-on approach to relating to children makes her approachable and fun in the classroom. Bedsworth has a Bachelor’s Degree in Theater with an emphasis in Costume Design from Louisiana State University and a Master’s of Fine Arts from Tulane University in Costume Design and Technology. With over 20 years in the theater costume industry, she brings a unique design sensibility to her art making and teaching. She is also an artist and member of the Craftmen’s Guild of Mississippi and has art regularly in the guild’s gallery at the Crafts Center in Ridgeland, MS. She also is the owner of Art To Go LLC, an arts-based teaching business in Oxford, MS.
