Amile Wilson

Amile Wilson is a director, choreographer, and performing artist with experience in both Los Angeles and New York. He has toured and performed internationally in Europe, Asia, and Africa. He is a member of the Directors Guild of America, The Stage Directors and Choreographers Society, and The Dramatists Guild. Amile is a graduate of Belhaven University and Hollins University and has taught theatre at Millsaps College and Jackson State University. He currently works as a performer and choreographer with Kinetic Etchings Dance Project and artistic director of the Mississippi Shakespeare Festival.

Amile believes the in the power of story to change hearts, minds, and the world. His work with students focuses on using theatre as a means to explore themselves and their relationships with others. He believes every person has a story and wants to help them tell theirs.
